Permanently cap off or transition 4-inch IPS HDPE pipelines to standard 6-inch flanged valves, pumps, or steel connections with our heavy-duty molded flange adapters. Manufactured using advanced injection molding processes, these fittings eliminate the weak points often found in fabricated caps for maximum resistance to slow crack growth (SCG) and rapid crack propagation.
Can be joined with all major brands of industrial HDPE butt fusion machinery and electrofusion couplers. (Note: This is a butt-fused component. It is not compatible with hand-held socket fusion irons or solvent cement welding. Steel backing rings are required for mechanical bolting and are sold separately.)
