Permanently clamp and anchor 4-inch IPS HDPE flange adapter stub ends to standard Class 150 valves, pumps, or companion steel flanges with our heavy-duty backup rings. Manufactured using advanced high-strength casting and drilling processes, these metal rings eliminate the weak points often found in lightweight rings for maximum resistance to structural distortion and joint separation under pressure.
Can be joined with all major brands of industrial HDPE flange adapters. (Note: This is a mechanical backing ring component. It is placed over the flange adapter stub end prior to butt fusion and is not compatible with direct solvent cement welding or standalone pipe fastening without a flange adapter.)
